AR Denarius of Marcus Aurelius as Caesar, 139-161 A.D. The
obverse shows his bare head right, with the legend "AURELIUS CAESAR AUG PII
F". The reverse depicts Providentia standing left, resting left arm on
column, pointing with right hand at globe, holding sceptre, with the legend
"TR POT III COS II". The coin is attributed as RSC-628 and grades EF
overall.
